I've spent the better part of twenty years following technology to wherever things start getting interesting. Not really because I'm obsessed with novelty, but because I've always been drawn to the edge, that moment when something new stops being abstract and starts changing how people actually live and work.

Over that time I've built, led, and mentored teams across engineering, cloud, and AI. Leadership, for me, has never been about titles as much as it's been about helping good people do great work, making hard things feel a little clearer, and creating the kind of environment where smart people can really stretch. I love the technology, but I've never thought the technology was the whole point.

I still like the frontier. I probably always will. But I'm just as interested in old cities, long histories, and the way a place reveals itself through its food. That's part of why I travel. Good food isn't separate from culture, it is culture. The older I get, the more I think human connection matters more than any tool, no matter how powerful or new it is.
